Description

Central Illinois Radiological Associates (CIRA) is an independent, physician owned private practice radiology group with 90+ physicians providing imaging interpretation and imaged guided intervention services to ambulatory facilities, clinics and hospitals located in the Midwest. CIRA’s multi-site platform has created a unique work model that has cultivated a thriving and enjoyable work environment with consistent growth and success. Our radiologists have developed positive, respected relationships in the communities within which they operate.

We are currently recruiting a full-time multispecialty radiologist to join our team of professionals at our location in O’Fallon, Illinois, with an interest in traveling to some of our hospital partner locations within an hour of O’Fallon. Through CIRA’s enterprise worklist platform, the position provides general and subspecialty medical imaging expertise throughout sites within our practice allowing cross coverage and the ability to provide the highest level of care for our patients.

This is a unique opportunity for a fellowship trained or non-fellowship trained radiologist that will allow one to be a part of an expanding, successful practice only 20 minutes from downtown St. Louis.  Our site location offers the freedom to enjoy city living or to reside in the surrounding community atmosphere.

Requirements

The position participates in breast imaging and non-vascular procedures including biopsies, drainages, paracentesis, thoracentesis, joint injections and lumbar punctures. In addition, we are looking for candidates with strong interpersonal & communication skills to cultivate relationships with hospitals, physicians, employees and patients and want to make the “CIRA Difference” in providing quality patient care to those we serve.
